[:en]The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Egyptian Banks and the representatives of banks Hisham Ezz Al-Arab signed a special agreement for the commissions related to the banking operations, which are jointly executed by banks for the benefit of a customer and the general rules that banks must adhere to.

The Union of Banks of Egypt said in a statement on Monday that the technical committee had amended some items after discussing them last September and approved by the board of directors.

The Union pointed out that the aim of the agreement is to raise the level of banking service to serve the banking system as a whole, and to determine the rules governing the work in respect of interbank operations[:ar]

وقع رئيس مجلس إدارة اتحاد بنوك مصر وممثلو البنوك هشام عز العرب اتفاقية خاصة بالعمولات المتعلقة بالعمليات المصرفية التى يشترك فى تأديتها بنكان لصالح عميل، والقواعد العامة التى يجب على البنوك الالتزام بها.

وأوضح اتحاد بنوك مصر فى بيان له  اليوم الإثنين، أن اللجنة الفنية قامت بتعديل بعض البنود بعد مناقشتها فى سبتمبر الماضي، وتم اعتمادها من مجلس الإدارة.

وأشار الاتحاد إلى أن الهدف من الاتفاقية رفع مستوى الخدمة المصرفية بما يخدم الجهاز المصرفى ككل، ولتحديد القواعد التى تنظم العمل فيما يتعلق بالعمليات المشتركة بين البنوك
